Entertainment mediums from television and movies, to the Internet and video games, not only consume vast amounts of our time -- they're giving us a message. Entertaining Excess examines the four most prominent claims of the entertainment industry... This is only entertainment — we don't influence anybody. It only reflects reality. Don't blame us, blame society. We give people what they want. If they don't like it, they can always turn it off. You can't stop progress. (You can't change Hollywood.) Through Entertaining Excess we address the impact of media themes and claims on our society as a whole and individuals in specific -- always from a distinctly Christian perspective. While being extremely careful to not sensationalize material presented (visually or otherwise), due to the intensity of some topics, parental discretion should be exercised as to the attendance of young children.
